The team at Charrington Manor Care Home in West Byfleet is celebrating after being shortlisted for the Surrey Care Awards 2025, which recognise excellence across the county’s social care community.
The home has been nominated for Team of the Year (Small/Medium Provider), a category that highlights exceptional teamwork, compassion, and dedication to residents. It’s a meaningful recognition of the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of our team.
Home Manager Simona Vargo-Pali shared her pride in the nomination:
“This is thrilling news and a huge credit to our wonderful team and to the lovely residents. It means the world to us because it recognises the dedication, kindness and professionalism of the whole team – and that’s 114 of us! I’m incredibly proud of what we achieve together each day.”
Since opening its doors in March 2022, Charrington Manor has built a strong reputation for high-quality, person-centred care. The home achieved an Outstanding Key Lines of Enquiry rating at its Care Quality Commission inspection and continues to receive excellent feedback in regular mock inspections.
The Surrey Care Awards, organised by the Surrey Care Association, celebrate the county’s unsung heroes – individuals and teams who go above and beyond to make a difference in people’s lives. Winners will be announced on Friday 14th November 2025 at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking.
Whatever the outcome, this nomination is a wonderful reflection of the care, connection, and dedication that define life at Charrington Manor, proudly supporting families across West Byfleet, Woking, and the surrounding Surrey area.
