Registered Care Home Manager

Julie House

Registered Care Home Manager

Julie has over 10 years of experience in the care industry, starting as a part-time cook and care assistant before progressing to senior care assistant, deputy manager, and eventually managing her first home. She has since gained extensive experience managing a variety of care settings, including residential, dementia, and nursing homes, where she has successfully improved and commissioned homes before joining the team at Verwood House. Julie holds a Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, both of which support her role as a Home Manager. From her very first day in a care home, Julie felt a deep connection with caring for the elderly and has been dedicated ever since to fostering a warm, homely environment where residents and their families can live, love, and laugh together. Julie is proud to be part of the Verwood House team, where everyone is committed to going the extra mile to brighten someone’s day.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys walking in the New Forest with her dog, Ted.

"As the Home Manager at Verwood House, I am committed to leading a team that is passionate about delivering outstanding care and creating a warm, supportive environment for our residents. My focus is on ensuring that every individual feels respected, safe, and truly part of our community. From the very first enquiry to settling into their new home, I am here to provide guidance, support, and a welcoming atmosphere, helping each resident feel comfortable and at ease."
