Everyone was revved up when a Southampton care home enjoyed a day of motorcycling fun triggering happy biking memories for some.
Templeton Place Care Home, Hurst Way, joined forces with Right at Home and Dementia Adventure to host the event.
PEDALL is a fantastic initiative that offers inclusive cycling experiences for people of all abilities and mobility levels. With the support of trained staff and specially adapted bikes, the group embarked on a 45-minute ride through the scenic trails of the New Forest.
The cute cockapoo gets the VIP treatment when he cuddles up to residents and is happy to twist and twirl for entertainment. Friendly Reggie is brought to the home by Jacquie, who has trained him to always be on his best behaviour – although he can be a little mischievous, especially as he shows off his dance skills.
